Crown Castle is an S&P 500 company and one of the largest Real Estate Investment Trusts in the United States with an enterprise value of approximately $60 billion.    Position Title:  Manager RF Engineering   Position Summary   Responsibilities include planning, directing, designing and optimizing DAS and Small Cell Networks. Incumbent will assist with the project implementation, the ongoing maintenance and modification of systems, and the management of RF personnel and assets. The Manager RF Engineering will also schedule and direct the activities of a team of RF engineers to resolve hardware, software, performance and compliance issues in a timely and accurate fashion. The successful candidate will coordinate and report on status of all designs and networks to ensure standards and KPIs are achieved.  This role will interface with National and Regional engineering teams, Sales, DAS OEMs and vendors.    Essential Job Functions   Interface with Customer and cultivate relationship with their engineering teams. Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system and network products and services. Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure designs and capacity requirements are met. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures as appropriate. Oversee project implementation; design systems by selecting sites, conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Oversee the configuration, testing, and commission of DAS and small cell networks. Accountable for maintenance and support; recommend post optimization configuration changes, support NOCC and troubleshoot performance issues, and support new technology trials and create test plans. Perform analysis and troubleshooting. Coordinate with Small Cell Engineering resources as needed to respond to any internal or external needs. Manage and ensure effectiveness of network components required to monitor networks deployed at customer locations as well as standalone DAS networks. Establish best practices and policies for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems. Manage Internal/external staff and technical education and training. Direct engineering team and conduct performance reviews and corrective action as required. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent system and network activities, as required. Invoice approval and cost management. Conduct research and make recommendations on system and network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts. Approve and administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Education/Certifications   Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Masters in Electrical Engineering preferred   Experience/Minimum Requirements   Five (5) years of RF Engineering experiencerequired. Three (3) years of management experience or equivalent required. Subject matter expert on small cell architecture. Expertise with DAS OEMs required. Proficient use of prediction tools (Atoll, iBwave) and MapInfo. Expert knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G wireless technologies. Able to create link budgets, calculate noise figures, and calculate intermodulation products. Expert knowledge of radio wave propagation fundamentals, antenna theory, and optical transmission. Able to use test equipment and software. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
